Eitan Story

Eitan Samuel Stern-Robbins

Eitan the Fearless

Eitan was one of those unique people who didn't give a shit what others said, and was never afraid of an adventure or pulling off some crazy stunt. He was a guy who recognized an awkward or boring situation and did anything to make it a hilarious story.

One night we had been drinking and ended up at a park by the river. Eitan decided it would be a great idea to climb 15 feet up a tree to try to pee in a little Dixie cup that he had put at the base. Despite his size he was incredibly good at climbing things. He found his way onto a branch and proceeded to pee into the cup at the bottom. Granted, he missed a lot of it, but I'm pretty sure he won a fair slapbet from that, if my memory serves me correctly. Eitan was afraid of nothing, whether it be a slapbet he wasn't 100% sure of, or just making the hike to North Cambridge in the middle of the night to eat all the food at my house, knowing very well that it was not a short walk back home at 3 in the morning.

A lot of nights over the summer it would end up being me, Max and Eitan, and we would often wander the streets of Cambridge looking for something to do. I remember subtly complaining to myself because we had no house to go to or anything to do, but now I would do anything to have that time again. I really regret not skipping 4th period senior year more often to hang out with everyone in his basement, but I'm glad I at least had time with Eitan over the summers.

I'll never forget going to his house to hit the books and play knock hockey, watch movies and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, play xbox and just fuck around. He was sarcastic, and stubborn, funny, kind and incredibly smart. Eitan was one of the best friends I've had and I still can't imagine not being able to see him again.
