Eitan’s tallit with a phrase from his bar mitzvah portion, “Love others as you love yourself,” and tallit bag with his name in Hebrew. He designed them.
Boulder from Camp Avoda, with Eitan's name engraved in Hebrew. He loved his summer camp and his friends there. Very meaningful to have a piece of camp near his final physical resting place.
with a broken top, symbolizing a life cut short. "Molto bene!" is an Italian phrase meaning "Very good." Eitan said it all the time.
inscribed with a thought on God, from his college essay. The broken tree also symbolizes a life cut short too soon.
Eitan's funeral was held on February 18, 2013. It was a beautiful service, filled with words of love for our beautiful son, grandson, brother, cousin, friend. He was buried with a siddur he had received while at Solomon Schechter, and a Camp Avoda sweatshirt and yearbook. He loved his camp and his friends.
