Home
April 2, 1994: Eitan Samuel Stern-Robbins was born in Boston, Massachusetts, at 8:49 a.m. He grew up in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in 2012, then headed off for the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where he was in the business school.
February 14, 2013: Eitan passed away in his sleep, due to complications from epilepsy.
Eitan was passionate about life, loving his friends and hanging out. He was very creative in many areas – art, writing, video games, friendship. He was a beloved son to myself and his father, Jeffrey Robbins, and brother to Gabriel and Shoshi. This site is a chance to showcase who he was, a light in the world.
When he was in third grade, Eitan was given a Tanach at Solomon Schechter, the Jewish school he attended for seven years. I wrote a dedication then, and it still applies, and I will close with that:

Named for strength, a prophet, a bird, and a star
You’ve grown into the name you received at your birth
When we used to wonder just who you would be,
How you would think, what you would see.
As you grow as a Jew, as a son, a brother, a man,
Filled with laughter and kindness and wisdom, and plans
And a strong sense of justice, a sense of self-worth
You honor your name, and we love who you are.
