Eitan Story

Eitan Samuel Stern-Robbins

Batman

It must have been after the Tim Burton Batman movies came out because everyone had Batman products. Eitan and Matisse had Batman and Robin figures and I was playing alone with my Poison Ivy figure, which at the time was a pretty weird "girls toy". Eitan came up and asked me if I wanted to play. Of course Eitan and I had played together before but Batman, that was boy territory! But of course, I accepted and a bond was formed.

I re-meet Eitan in health class our freshmen year which, at first, was a little awkward. We didn't talk to each other for maybe a month because I just couldn't be sure but curiosity won over. We easily slipped back into being friends and I am so happy we did. We would always jokingly argue about him being mean to me when we were little ( which of course he wasn't!) but he put up with all my teasing.

I think Eitan was partly what brought our whole group together. He made everyone feel welcome and he always had a joke to tell. We are all going to miss him so much.
